1. About the Service

Sober Society is a digital platform focused on sobriety support, wellbeing, community interaction, and personal growth tools. Some features are free, while others may require payment, subscription, or premium membership. We may update, improve, suspend, discontinue, or modify features at any time.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires), have legal capacity to agree to these Terms, and comply with applicable laws.

3. User Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and accept responsibility for account activity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, Pricing & Refunds

Paid subscriptions may be offered via Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions may auto-renew until cancelled. We reserve the right to change prices, increase fees, add paid tiers, remove promotions, or adjust pricing due to costs, inflation, taxes, market conditions, or business needs. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically entitle users to refunds. If accounts are banned or suspended for rule breaches, no refunds, partial refunds, or pro-rata refunds will be provided, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

5. Acceptable Use

Users must not harass others, break laws, spread harmful or fraudulent content, upload malware, spam, scrape the platform, or misuse accounts.

6. Community Rules

Sober Society is intended to be safe and respectful. Bullying, hate speech, threats, illegal activity promotion, self-harm encouragement, privacy violations, or ban evasion are prohibited.

7. User-Generated Content

Users are responsible for content they post. Content must be lawful, respectful of rights, and not misleading or harmful. We may remove content where necessary.

8. Moderation & Enforcement

We may issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, permanently ban users, or report unlawful conduct.

9. Health & Safety Disclaimer

The Services are not medical treatment, therapy, crisis support, or a substitute for professional advice. Seek qualified help where appropriate.

10. Intellectual Property

All branding, software, designs, graphics, and platform materials (excluding user content) belong to Darling Tech LTD or its licensors.

11. Privacy

Use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Service Availability

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darling Tech LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the Services.

14. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Updated versions become effective when posted in the app or website.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply.
